1. Actions for the environment

Take urgent action to combat climate change and its consequences

What does Zingerle Group do to achieve this goal?

Zingerle Group tries to reduce its environmental impact through various actions, such as offsetting the amount of CO2 emitted from the printing of our annual reports through the Natureoffice project. In addition, we invest in research and development of more eco-friendly products such as the Eco fabric produced from 100% recycled materials and the Pirontex® fabric that is produced and dyed in a sustainable process. In addition, all materials of our products are recyclable and we ourselves recover fabric scraps from our tents to produce bags.
In our company we have adopted a plastic-free policy, in fact in our lounge we do not use disposable plastic objects, not even for coffee. We have, of course, set up separate waste collection bins, which all our employees undertake to respect, as they also undertake to make conscientious use of paper and water.
Finally, 100 per cent of the energy needs of our headquarters in Naz-Sciaves are met by the photovoltaic system on the roof.

What does Zingerle Group do to achieve this goal?

1 in 5 young people in the world do not work or study. At Zingerle Group we invest in the next generation and count on a young and active team. The average age of our marketing department is 28!
Zingerle Group not only ensures the well-being of all its direct employees, but also requires its suppliers to make sure that all employees in the production chain are paid in accordance with applicable laws and that workers and the workplace are compliant.

3. Gender Equality

Achieving gender equality and empowering all women and girls

What does Zingerle Group do to achieve this?

Recruitment is made solely on the basis of practical and social skills, and salaries are adapted to each member's role in the company and never related to gender. 60% of our employees are women!
Furthermore, since 2021 we have been the official sponsor of the SSV Brixen women's football team. We believe that women and men should also have equal opportunities in sport and we try in our own small way to contribute to this.

4. Affordable and clean energy

Ensuring access to clean, safe and modern energy for all

What does Zingerle Group do to achieve this goal?

100 per cent of the energy used in the offices and production at our headquarters in Brixen comes from photovoltaic panels installed on the roof. Heat is energy too! The district heating network of the municipality generates energy with the help of renewable raw materials and covers the entire heat demand of our headquarters. All our company buildings are very well insulated to prevent heat from escaping outside. In addition, we use LED lighting in all our facilities. We believe in clean and renewable energy and pay attention to using it efficiently and intelligently.

5. Good health and wellbeing

Ensuring healthy lives and promoting well-being at all ages

What does Zingerle Group do to achieve this?

In a world that is moving more and more towards digital contacts, we at Zingerle Group have decided to leave the choice to our employees, in order to increasingly improve the work-life balance and consequently the psychological health and well-being of all employees. We offer the possibility of working from home, but at the same time we have renovated the communal areas to ensure that the team can feel comfortable at work and that the various members can bond with each other in a comfortable environment. We have provided a designer lounge with sofas, TV, table football, darts, a refrigerator with fresh fruit and healthy food, and a coffee bar machine. In addition, we have a yoga room where our employees relax by exercising twice a week. 55% of our employees have been with the company for more than 5 years!

What does Zingerle Group do to achieve this?

As a global leader and pioneer, Zingerle Group engages daily in the development of innovative solutions that can make industry more innovative by continuously renewing processes. Whether it is a new process for colouring a fabric such as Pirontex®, or a new machine for aluminium profiles, Zingerle Group carefully designs it with innovation in mind, creating win-win-win-win situations for the company, employees, customers and the environment. We are also involved in various infrastructure renewal processes in developing countries. 

7. Responsible Production and Consumption

Ensuring responsible production and consumption patterns

What does Zingerle Group do to achieve this?

At Zingerle Group, we continuously innovate our production processes in order to minimise inefficiencies and waste and make the most of the resources available to us. We try to produce as many components in-house as possible in order to reduce transport and consequently pollute less. Since we have no physical shops to supply, we only ever produce what is needed without ever exceeding and ending up having to throw away or sell off the goods. All our products are of the highest quality and designed to have the longest possible life cycle, and we also offer repair and replacement kits and services to extend it even further. All materials in our product lines are recyclable and can be transformed into different products at the end of their life.

8. Zero poverty

Eliminating all forms of poverty worldwide

What does Zingerle Group do to achieve this goal?

Every year since 2015 we have organised events in the production department of our headquarters in Brixen. All proceeds from the events are donated to various charities both with local action and in developing countries.
Of course, in 2022 we feel closer than ever to the Ukrainian population and have organised a collection of goods in the company and collaborated with various associations to provide our products free of charge for emergency situations.
In addition, we make sure that all workers in our production chain are paid correctly and in line with regulations and the important contribution they make to our company.

9. Underwater life

Conserving and making sustainable use of seas, oceans and marine resources

What does Zingerle Group do to achieve this?

We have created an innovative and environmentally sustainable fabric! The new Pirontex® fabric helps to pollute the groundwater less. The special dyeing process known as solution dying eliminates the various dye baths and washes required for dyeing traditional fabrics, which means there is no waste to pour into the groundwater. Furthermore, the use of chemicals is reduced by 60% and that of water by 80%. Pirontex® in its own small way contributes to the well-being of marine biodiversity.
Furthermore, our ECO fabric is made entirely from recycled PET bottle plastic, bottles that would otherwise end up in our oceans.
