Celebrating the opening of our new headquarters

Almost three years after breaking ground, we celebrated the official opening of Zingerle Group’s new headquarters on 12 September 2026. Neighbours, friends, construction partners, colleagues and political representatives joined us to mark the occasion and the opening of “a place that allows us to shape our own future”, as Georg Zingerle put it.

Our production hall, where we usually manufacture, pack and ship RUKU1952® beer garden table and bench sets around the world, became a venue for celebration. We raised a glass to the successful completion of the project and, above all, thanked the people, businesses and specialists who had helped bring our new headquarters to life.

More than a place to work

The new five-storey building provides room for ideas and efficient workflows, with sustainability and the needs of our employees central to its design. Around 30% of the site is green space with permeable ground, while solar panels meet a large proportion of the building’s energy needs. Our in-house bistro seats 70 people, and dedicated yoga and wellbeing rooms offer space to relax and recharge.

Guided tours during the celebrations gave guests a chance to explore the new premises. In their speeches, Georg Zingerle and CEO Stefan Zingerle shared insights into the company and the building project, which took shape in a relatively short time.

  • February 2023: approval of the detailed development plan
  • July 2023: excavation begins
  • October 2023: groundbreaking ceremony
  • February 2024: work begins on the first foundations
  • November 2024: topping-out ceremony
  • December 2024: building shell completed
  • October 2025: move completed

Rooted in Schabs

Choosing Schabs was about more than strategy. It was a decision shaped by our connection to the place where our story began in 1948. We have continued that story, chapter by chapter, growing into an international business now run by the third generation of the Zingerle family.

At the opening celebrations, Alexander Überbacher, Mayor of Natz-Schabs, and Arno Kompatscher, Governor of South Tyrol, also recognised Zingerle Group’s importance to the region. Both highlighted our role as an employer and our contribution to the local economy and South Tyrol as a whole.

For us, the new headquarters marks a major milestone. As Stefan Zingerle explained, “We have laid the foundations for Zingerle Group’s continued growth and strengthened our ability to lead the way in innovation.”
The opening was more than a celebration of a completed building project. It was a moment to pause, say thank you and look ahead with fresh ideas and plans for the future.
