In the Franciscan monastery

Creating prospects with donations

In a room with two bunk beds, 5 boys sit at a large table and do homework together.

Support for disadvantaged families

The Franciscan monastery in Odorheiu Secuiesc, Romania, is a place of care. A place where children and young people from disadvantaged backgrounds live together in community and receive regular school support, hot meals and medical care. Between homework and learning, there is plenty of space for leisure activities - pool, table football, table tennis and board games - and for making new friends.

The monastery's special initiative, which also provides financial support for the pupils' families, was supported last year with a donation from Zingerle Group East. In this way, we can help to keep this local project running and thus the valuable work of the Franciscan brothers.
